#Write_On 2017

#Write_On 2017

In and amongst my random wormholes I find myself traveling down in the big wide world of the internet, I came across something I hadn’t heard of before but am super excited about to be taking part in this year.  It’s called the Write_On Challenge.  Here’s the gist of it.

Basically, April is National Letterwriting Month.  Write_On challenges you to write (and send) 30 handwritten letters/notes/cards in 30 days.  That’s not as daunting as it sounds since it’s only one letter per day.

I can tell you, I am already thinking about who I’ll be writing to, though I won’t officially write their letters or cards until April gets here.  It works out extra special for me this year, too, because I JUST received my first real true grown up address book.  It’s super awesome and deserves it’s very own post, so look for that to come.

Anyway, I’m excited about this challenge because it’s a challenge and who doesn’t love those?  Also, I think that the art of sending snail mail has slowly almost become totally replaced by the much quicker, and less personal, emails and text messages. One added bonus is, when the person I write a letter or card to gets to them in their mailbox, they’ll smile because let’s face it.  Who doesn’t love finding mail that isn’t a bill in their mailbox?

For all the information and access to some awesome graphics to use head on over to the official #Write_On Challenge website.  Look around at all the awesomeness they have there.

Now I ask you this.  Will you join me in the #Write_On Challenge in April 2017?
